Luke and I are extremely
excited to be in the cow business. It is our goal to raise quality
commercial Angus cattle with proven genetics we feel that will enhance
our breeding program. We are continually striving to increase the
breeding value of our herd to better serve the needs of the industry. We
try to use bulls that improve certain traits for calving, reproduction,
growth and carcass evaluation, and of course hardiness for Montana
weather and roping. We also are raising Highlander cross cattle and Corrientte Roping cattle. These two types of cattle will help us in our horse program for training.
#12 Black Angus Heifer. We will breed her this year to Madrid Cattle Company Bull!
#20 Red Angus Heifer. She is 2 years old from 66 Ranch. She had a red angus bull calf this May and will be bred to a Madrid Cattle Company Bull this year.
#17 is a Hereford Heifer we call Daisy. She was a bottle calf we raised and fell in love with her so we decided to keep her as one of our breeding cows.
#23 is a Red Angus Cow that will calve late July.
#26 Black Angus Heifer that is to young to breed so we will keep her in the roping pen this year.
#35 Black Angus Mix cow. Throws really nice stout calves.
We also are adding a mini cow herd to bred to our mini Highlander bull named Kyle.
#14 is our Mini cow. We used to rope her but decided to keep to to start raising some calves for us!
#27 is a Red Angus mini cow we call Captain Marvel. We will bred her to Kyle when she is old enough.
Kyle is our Highlander that is more of a dog than a bull. He is a big pet and loves his scratches everyday. Heidi and Lydia catch him to brush and braid his hair. He sure does love his pampering. We do breed outside cows to Kyle. Can contact us for price and openings.
Luke and I are super excited to be starting our own roping cattle business. We only have a few cows but are happy to be raising our own roping cattle we can enjoy.
